#Roadtrip2015 Day 7: Reims and the Champagne Route - Reims e la via dello Champagne
Hola giugizers e benvenuti al 7° capitolo del nostro diario di viaggio dal Nord della Francia!
Hola giugizers and welcome to the 7th chapter of our travel diary from the North of France!
Ciò che più mi ha colpito della zona dello Champagne è la sensazione di profondità, le distese infinite di vigneti, i campi di grano ed il cielo su una pianura che sembra non finire mai.
Reims sembra sorgere dal nulla ed avvicinandosi appare la cattedrale che svetta su ogni cosa, imponente.
Al suo interno è un tripudio di luce che scivola in modo quasi irreale attraverso le vetrate, illuminando le superfici ed i volti.
L'azzurro delle vetrate realizzate da Chagall colpisce in modo poetico ed intenso.
What impressed me the most about the Champagne area is the neverending vineyards, the wheat fields and the sky, on a plain that seems to never end.
Reims rises from that plain, stands out like a mirage and as you get closer there it is, the Cathedral, huge and impressive.
On the inside the light slides through the colored windows, lighting up the surfaces and the people.
The intense blue of Chagall windows strikes in a poetic yet strong way.
Reims è una città affascinante, moderna ed antica al tempo stesso e vi consiglio di visitarla se vi trovate in zona.
Poi ancora Route de Champagne, fino ad Verzenay con il suo faro tra i vigneti e la vista spettacolare che regala.
Reims is a charmong city, modern and ancient at the same time and I really recommend you to visit it if you're in the area.
Then back oin the Champagne Route to Verzenay, with its lighthouse among the vineyards and the breathtaking view if offers.
La nostra giornata finisce ad Epernay sotto un cielo che promette temporali. Domani si riparte verso l'oceano, il viaggio continua!
Our day ends in Epernay under a stormy sky. Tomorrow we'll head toward the ocean, the journey keeps going!
