Iconic figures of the 20th century: Charlie Chaplin accessories

E' tempo di un nuovo post dedicato agli accessori della serie "Icone del XX° secolo"!!
Il protagonista di oggi è Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin, meglio noto come Charlie Chaplin.
Attore, regista, sceneggiatore, comico , compositore e produttore Sir Charles fu uno fra i più influenti cineasti del 20° secolo.
I suoi innumerevoli talenti fanno di questo poliedrico artista un'icona indiscussa!

Guess what? It's time for a new post dedicated to "Iconic figures of the 20th century" accessories serie!!
Today's protagonist is Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin, better known as Charlie Chaplin.
Actor, director,  screenwriter, comedian, composer and producer Sir Charles was one of the most influential film-makers of the 20th century.
His uncountable talents turned this versatile artist an undisputed  icon!

Ispirandomi al suo personaggio più famoso , Charlot, ho realizzato 4 divertenti accessori.
Partiamo con questa collana girocollo con pendente tondo in bronzo anticato e charm a forma di baffi.

I was inspired by one of his most memorable characters, the Tramp and  I created 4 funny accessories.
Let's start with this cute short necklace with tiny round vintage copper pendant and mustache charm.
I love how the different details match together and make this accessory funny and cute.

Il secondo accessorio sul quale ho lavorato è questo braccialetto pieno di charms e pendenti in bronzo.
Ho inserito nei pendenti tondi alcune delle mie immagini preferite di Charlot, abbinate ad una serie di charms. Mi piaceva l'idea di mettere insieme tanti oggetti diversi, concentrandomi sulla ripetzione di bronzo e immagini in bianco e nero.
Trovo che la collana e questo bracciale facciano una parure perfetta, semplice, divertente!

The second accessory I worked on is this bracelet full of pendants and charms.
I chose for the vintage copper round pendants some of my favourite the Tramp pictures and I matched them with various charms without following a real path. I liked the idea of mixing together a lot of different objects, focusing mainly in the continuity between copper and the black and white pictures.
I think the mustache necklace and this bracelet get along perfectly creating a simple and fun parure!

Per i prossimi due accessori ho invece scelto di giocare sulla semplicità assoluta. 

Per la collana ho utilizzato un pendante ovale in bronzo con copertura in vetro, all'interno del quale ho inserito un'immagine a figura intera di Charlot. La catenina abbinata è volutamente lunga e sottile, per ridurre al minimo l'impatto.

For the next 2 accessories I chose to focus on the simplicity.

For the necklace I used a vintage copper oval pendant with domed glass cover, inside of which I placed a full-figured picture of the Tramp. The chain I matched is very long and thin to minimize the impact.

Per l'anello ho utilizzato una semplice base tonda in bronzo anticato, all'interno della quale ho inserito un primo piano di Charlot.
Sempice e d'effetto!

For the ring I chose a simple round vintage copper base inside of which I placed a close up picture of the Tramp.
